Preparing for Jack Frost
Don’t let Jack Frost nip at your child’s nose this winter. Prolonged exposure to the cold can cause a number of health issues, including frostbite. Before your child takes off for school or outdoor play, be sure to dress him or her appropriately for the chilly winter weather. Always remember to dress them in layers, keep them dry, and cover all body parts.

Parent Portal and School Fusion Login for Parents
Parent and student logins from the 2010-2011 school year on Mullen's website have been disabled while we transition from Edulink to a new Parent Portal.  If you cannot login to Mullen's website now, all general school information is available without a password.  To request an account for the 2011-2012 school year, click the Parent Portal tab to the left, read the instructions and complete the registration process.  Then, you will need to check your email and print out your request form. Bring your request form to the office during school hours with a photo ID and your account will be activated. The activation process may take up to  2-3 weeks due to the high volume of account requests.

Students will be given login information at school.  Students do not need to register for new school fusion passwords through the Parent Portal.

Bus Transportation
PWCS Regulation 431-1 states that daily bus service will be provided for all students living in excess of one mile from their school. Students eligible for transportation may be required to walk up to one mile to reach their bus stop. Transportation is not provided for students living within a school’s walking boundary.

Riding the bus is a privilege. Rules have been established to ensure the safety of all children riding the bus. Bus transportation rules are listed in the “Code of Behavior” book which is given to students on the first day of school. Please read and discuss this information with your child. All students need to be aware of the bus rules, including those who walk to school because they may need to ride the bus sometime during the school year.

Students must have a written request from a parent to change their regular scheduled stop or their assigned bus. The written request is subject to approval by a school administrator. Bus drivers must receive notification by the school office when approval is given to a student to change to an alternate stop or bus.
